Sister Joseph Marie became
Director of Development in August, 2001.
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Sister brings a depth of
personal experience, along with strong organizational and
interpersonal skills to this Office. A graduate of Notre
Dame University where she received her Masters in Science,
she has both taught and been principal in secondary schools
for many years. As principal Sister
was instrumental in beginning a development office in
one school and assisting the development director in another.
Sister sees relationships
as her primary focus. Through interaction with our sisters as
well as anyone involved in
our varied ministries, Sister hopes to encourage future
support, be it financial, material, or spiritual. |

Sister Mary Mark
began her work in the
Development Office in August, 2006.
Sister is originally from Hanover, PA, the 7th of 13
children. She received her Masters in education from Seton
Hall University. After spending 9 years teaching elementary school and 28 years as principal in various schools,
Sister was appointed as Local Coordinator at Holy Family
Convent, our Infirmary and Home for retired sisters. In August,
2006, Sister was happy to join our staff in the Development
Office. Her favorite hobbies are cross stitching and
planting/caring for flowers. |

Sr. Helen
Marie Cronin

Sister Helen Marie, a native of
Philadelphia, PA, joined the Development Team in August,
2004, bringing with her the experience
of teaching High School Science in many of our secondary
schools, and most recently, of being the Dean-Registrar of
Assumption College for Sisters. A graduate of Notre Dame
University where she received her Masters in science,
Sister's skills in organization are a real asset to the
department.

Sister Shawn, also from
Philadelphia, PA, became part of the Development staff in May,
2000. Sister served as a
Medical Technologist at our two hospitals after receiving her B.S. in science from Marillac
College and completing her Internship at
Divine Providence Hospital. While teaching secondary
science at various high schools, she completed her Masters
degree at Villanova University. Sister's technical
expertise allows her to assist with database management and
computer troubleshooting.
She also edits the Development publication,
WEAVINGS. |
